I love being able to instil my own passion for these subjects in other people.

A graduate of Knox Grammar School, Chris is now studying a double Bachelors in Engineering and Science at the University of Sydney. Apart from achieving a stellar ATAR, he also has extraordinary musical talent. Chris holds a Diploma in both the clarinet and the saxophone, having studied for an AMusA in each. Yet, on his journey to academic success, Chris has certainly encountered a few roadblocks, "I'm red-green colourblind, so when we get to using indicators in chemistry, I'm going to need a bit of help".

His tips for success in the HSC? Don't go hungry, "Try and study on as full a stomach as possible. Hunger is a powerful distraction".

My top 5 study tips

1Know your syllabus word for word by the exam period (it is possible).

2Take breaks every half hour or so (dependent on the individual).

3Don't worry about keeping your notes neat.

4Never stay up past 10 pm.

5Try and study on a full stomach as much as possible. Hunger is a powerful distraction.

Great futures begin with great HSC results
