My top 5 study tips
1Don't wait until the week before exams to do past papers. Start early by selectively choosing questions you can attempt, even if you haven't learned all the theory.
2Health is wealth! Ensuring you exercise regularly, get enough sleep and promote your wellbeing with frequent breaks is key to performing your best, while maintaining good spirits all the while.
3Set deadlines and create a long-term plan to ensure you will be confident and prepared when exam blocks arrive. Use a daily to-do list and check off each task as you complete them to motivate yourself to work towards these goals.
4Teamwork makes the dream work! Form study groups to teach each other tricky concepts, provide feedback on essay drafts and peer-mark exam responses.
5Don't throw away your marked exams when you get them back. Ask for help and redo the questions you had trouble with to improve for next time. Add these alongside any difficult questions you encounter in past papers to a ‘Hard Qs’ notebook to review before your next exam.
