My top 5 study tips

1Balance is always key. No matter what, you will feel better with how your lifestyle is when you are able to manage balance your studies with your own down time. You do a lot better when you feel good and not burnt out.

2Time management skills is one of the most important skills during the HSC. To get a good score, you will need to be a well balanced student, doing good in all subjects. It is hard to maintain at the top of your studies in each subject without good allocation of time.

3Always work on deepening your knowledge, but also just as importantly, the exam technique skills required in each subject. You can have the best tools but without the knowledge of how to use them most effectively, you will ultimately feel as if you have underachieved.

4Consistency and hard work is un-negotiable. Cramming and studying last minute will not help, and only make your life more difficult. Instead, working hard consistently (e.g 2-3 hours a day) will do wonders for you in the long term, and through long term memory it will stay in your memory longer, making it feel like natural knowledge instead of forced memorisation.

5Hard work and self discipline will always beat out good talent. As talented as someone may be, without the work ethic, someone hard working will always manage to do better than them. This is where you, as a talented individual of Talent 100 will thrive with academic mentors and tutors that develop your talent further, while instilling the discipline and work ethic needed to achieve your very best.

Great futures begin with great HSC results
